1. Access data and hosting
You can visit our websites without providing any personal information.
When you access our website, your browser automatically sends information to our website's server. This information is temporarily stored in a log file. The following information/access data is collected without your intervention and stored until it is automatically deleted:
-
IP address of the requesting computer,
-
Date and time of access,
-
Name and URL of the retrieved file,
-
Website from which access is made (referrer URL),
-
browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer as well as the name of your access provider.
This data is processed solely for the purpose of ensuring a smooth connection to the website and improving our services. This serves our legitimate interests, which, in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter f of the GDPR, override any conflicting interests, in the correct presentation of our services. All access data is deleted no later than seven days after the end of your visit to the website. Under no circumstances do we use the collected data to draw conclusions about your identity.
2. Collection and storage of personal data for contract processing and opening of a customer account
We collect personal data when you provide it to us in connection with your order, the creation of a customer account, registration, or when contacting us via contact form or email. Required fields are always marked as such, as we absolutely need this data to process your order, your inquiry, or the creation of your customer account/registration. Without this information, the order and/or the creation of a customer account cannot be completed. The specific data collected is evident from the respective input forms.
We use the data you provide in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR for contract processing and handling your inquiries.
After complete fulfillment of the contract or deletion of your customer account, your data will be restricted from further processing and deleted after the statutory retention periods under tax and commercial law have expired, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use your data beyond this scope, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this statement. You can delete your customer account at any time, either by sending a message to the contact address provided below or by using the corresponding function in your customer account.
3. Data sharing
For the purpose of fulfilling the contract in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR, we will pass on your data to the shipping company commissioned with the delivery, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of ordered goods.
Depending on which payment service provider you select during your order process, we will forward the necessary payment data collected for processing payments to the bank or payment service provider we have commissioned or the payment service you have selected. In some cases, data is collected directly by the payment service provider if you create an account with them. In this case, you will need to log in to the payment service provider with your access data during the order process. The data privacy policy of the respective payment service provider applies in this respect.
We use a shipping provider located in a country outside the European Union. Personal data is only transferred to this company to the extent necessary for the performance of the contract.
Furthermore, we will only transfer your personal data to third parties if the transfer is necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations to you and this is clearly done with or jointly with another provider (e.g. in cooperations), if we are otherwise legally entitled or obligated to disclose it, or if you have given us your consent.
To provide our services, selected personal data may be shared within our company with specific departments. These include employees in the accounting, product management, marketing, and IT departments.
In certain cases, we also use external service providers or affiliated companies that we have commissioned to process data on our behalf and under our instructions. These service providers are contractually bound by us as data processors in accordance with the strict requirements of the GDPR and are not permitted to use your data for any other purposes. The data processors we use provide us with the following services in particular: payment processing, printing, hosting, debt collection/receivables management, mailing services, and newsletter distribution.
The transfer of data to processors is based on Art. 28 para. 1 GDPR, or alternatively on our legitimate interest in the economic and technical advantages associated with the use of specialized processors, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
Where we are legally obligated to do so, or where permitted by data protection law, we transmit personal data to authorities, for example, the police or public prosecutor's office (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR). This data transfer is based on our legitimate interest in combating misuse, prosecuting criminal offenses, and securing, asserting, and enforcing claims, and provided that your rights and interests in the protection of your personal data do not override these interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).
4. Email advertising
Email advertising with newsletter registration
If you have subscribed to our newsletter and expressly consented to its use in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter a of the GDPR, we will use your email address or the data you have separately provided for this purpose to send you regular information about our offers. The only mandatory information required for sending the newsletter is your email address. Providing any other data is voluntary and is used to personalize our communications with you. We use the so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that we will only send you an email newsletter after you have expressly confirmed that you consent to receiving newsletters. We will then send you a confirmation email asking you to click on a corresponding link to confirm that you wish to receive future newsletters. When you subscribe to the newsletter, we store your IP address, which is registered by your Internet Service Provider (ISP), as well as the date and time of registration, in order to be able to trace any potential misuse of your email address at a later date. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, either by sending a message to the contact address provided below or by clicking the unsubscribe link at the end of each newsletter. After unsubscribing, we will delete your email address unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we have reserved the right to use your data for other purposes permitted by law, as described in this privacy policy.
Email advertising without newsletter registration and your right to object
If we receive your email address in connection with the sale of goods or services and you have not objected to its use, we reserve the right, based on Section 7 Paragraph 3 of the German Unfair Competition Act (UWG), to regularly send you offers for similar products to those you have already purchased from us via email. This serves our legitimate interest in marketing to our customers, which outweighs your interests in this context. You can object to this use of your email address at any time by contacting us using the contact details provided below or by clicking the unsubscribe link in the promotional email, without incurring any costs other than the standard transmission fees.
The newsletter or email advertising is sent by a service provider as part of processing on our behalf, to whom we pass on your email address for this purpose.
This service provider is located within a country of the European Union or the European Economic Area.
5. Data usage during payment processing
Identity and credit check when selecting Klarna payment services
To offer you Klarna's payment options, we will transmit personal data, such as contact and order details, to Klarna. This allows Klarna to assess whether you are eligible for the payment options offered by Klarna and to tailor these options to your needs. General information about Klarna can be found here . Your personal data will be processed by Klarna in accordance with applicable data protection regulations and as described in Klarna's privacy policy .
PayPal
We have integrated the PayPal payment option into our website. PayPal is an online payment service provider operated by PayPal (Europe) S.à.rl & Cie. SCA, 22-24 Boulevard Royal, 2449 Luxembourg, Luxembourg. Payments are processed via PayPal accounts, which are virtual personal or business accounts. PayPal also allows users to make virtual payments via credit card if they do not have a PayPal account. A PayPal account is linked to an email address, so there is no traditional account number. PayPal enables users to send and receive online payments. PayPal also acts as an escrow service and offers buyer protection. If the data subject selects "PayPal" as the payment method during the ordering process in our online shop, their data will be automatically transmitted to PayPal. By selecting this payment option, the data subject consents to the transfer of their personal data necessary for processing the payment. The personal data transmitted to PayPal typically includes first name, last name, address, email address, IP address, telephone number, mobile phone number, and other data necessary for payment processing. Personal data related to the specific order is also necessary for processing the purchase agreement. The purpose of transmitting this data is payment processing and fraud prevention. We will transmit personal data to PayPal, in particular, when there is a legitimate interest in doing so. The personal data exchanged between PayPal and the party we are dealing with may be transmitted by PayPal to credit reference agencies. This transmission is for the purpose of identity and creditworthiness verification. PayPal may also share personal data with affiliated companies, service providers, or subcontractors to the extent necessary for fulfilling contractual obligations or for processing the data on its behalf. The data subject has the right to withdraw their consent to the processing of their personal data by PayPal at any time. Such withdrawal does not affect personal data that must be processed, used, or transmitted for the (contractual) processing of payments. PayPal's current privacy policy can be accessed at https://www.paypal.com/de/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full .

We advertise this website in Google search results and on third-party websites using Google AdWords. The data collected in this context will be deleted once the purpose for its collection has ceased and we have discontinued using Google AdWords Remarketing.

11. Contact details and data subject rights
As a data subject, you have the following rights:

for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
Please note that there are statutory retention obligations, and therefore we may not be permitted to completely erase your data in every case. In this case, your data will be marked with the aim of restricting its future processing.
In accordance with Article 18 of the GDPR, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data if:
you contest the accuracy of the data;
the processing is unlawful, but you object to its erasure;
we no longer need the data, but you require it for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims; or
you have objected to the processing pursuant to Article 21 of the GDPR;

Right to object

If the processing is for direct marketing purposes, you may exercise this right at any time as described above. If the processing is for other purposes, you have a right to object only if there are grounds relating to your particular situation.
After you have exercised your right to object, we will no longer process your personal data for these purposes unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
